How It Started

Casa Del Sam started by accident.

I booked a 12-person chalet in Val Thorens and, without meaning to, opened a pop-up hostel for a month. What unfolded was a blur of snow days, late nights, and the kind of connection you can’t plan for.

No one really remembers who named it — the original name was terrible — so when someone asked, my mate shrugged and said, “Casa Del Sam,” since it was my idea. Somehow, it stuck. And it hasn’t stopped since.

What We Believe

Adventure connects people.

• Our socials are cool. The group chats are warmer.

 

Not everything makes the feed.

• Some memories stay buried in powder and playlists. That’s the point.

Timeline

🎿 Winter 2024 — The First Trip
A spontaneous ski mission in the Alps. No plans, just vibes. A few friends became a crew. The phrase “Casa Del Sam” was thrown around after too many après drinks — and stuck.

🗓️ Jan 2025 — Whistler, Canada
After riding for a few months in Canada, the idea lingered.
We started hosting casual events — same energy, new places. Then people started asking for something in London. So we made it happen. No master plan. It just grew — one gathering, one group chat, one night at a time.

❄️ May 2025 — The First Club Night
A private event in East London — wristbands only.
No flyer. No influencer guest list. Just word of mouth, music, lights, and a room full of people connected by the slopes. It wasn’t big, but it was solid. The kind of night that didn’t need a post to matter.

🎿 Summer 2025 — Capsule Drop + Alps Return
Custom hoodies. Beanies. Playing cards. The first official merch drop — and a ski trip with three times the crew. A camera crew came (we mostly ignored them). There was a lot of snow, and even more beer.

🧭 2025 & Beyond — Expansion Without Dilution
Inaugural Ski Trip. More socials. More drops. Maybe a space.
Definitely a few more passports.
But the vibe stays sacred: real people, real connection, unforgettable moments that don’t always make the feed.

Honestly, it’s easier to say what we’re not.
We’re not a hostel. Not a club. We’re something in between.
